What is the 3006 ammo worth? PICS

I found this in the bottom of my ammo stash and I don no where the heck it came from.  I do not have a 3006 and have never owned one.  Does any one have a ball park of what it may be worth?

There are 15 rounds of black tip
5 rounds of heavy ammo
And 38 rounds of some other lighter ammo

With that amount not really. Someone might be interested in the black tip because its true AP ammunition.

Maybe $20 if someone is feeling generous.

30.06 isn't exactly a lost caliber with a huge demand. I can't imagine making any more than .50/rnd on old cartridges of unknown origin.

I'm thinking maybe 10 or 15 bucks.

Probably about $35 to $40 for the lot.  By the looks of the old AP ammo, I see a date of 1949 on one of the rounds I would probably just shoot it out of my 03 Springfield to test it out.  Dates before 1955 or so are definitely corrosive ammo.  On the plus side if the black tip is good, it is also more accurate than the M2 ball round.  The bullet wight for the AP is 168 grains and safe for a Garand if it is still good.  Corrosive primer ammo was used for the simple reason that the primer was more stable over time and since military ammo can be stored for decades it was a consideration on what type of primer to use.
