[ARCHIVED THREAD] - So I'm doing a post apocalyptic photo shoot (New shots with Wife!!!) (Page 1 of 5)

Just started doing pre shoot test photos, I have a few good ideas on locations and various set pieces. Just figured I'd share the first test shot of my wife with a mask on. Most photos will be heavily processed to give a gritty look. When I get the shots done and everything worked out, I'll up load them to my website and show you guys. This sort of shot will be part of a larger photo, expect lots of gun porn and destroyed locations.
Again, only a test shot I won't go into destribing the scene, I'll just have to show you it when its done, expect more shots this is basically just a teaser shot. UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! just added 4 more So I've been crazy busy but the wife and a few friends of mine are starting to get this thing going. I did a few more test shots. I've got a few sketches of shots I want and this is just me throwing a few shots i took into a layout. I was hoping to shoot today but the sun is out, and we all know there is no sun at the end of the world 
getting together better ideas for clothing and firearms to be used. I've got to run to the local army/navy store and see what they have floating around. I also need to order a few more different style gas masks anyways here are four more. 
New shots with the wife enjoy you perverts 
ETA:she wouldn't let me get her nails dirty for this one. just a comp shot anyways

I want to keep everything used in the shots to be my own images, I plan on getting a few local guys to help me set up various style shots. I pretty much only shoot landscape/wildlife phtography but I figured I'd break out of my zone for a bit and have some fun.

A-Men to that.
Of all the places in warfare I'd least like to end up, the Trenches of W.W. 1 are in the top 3. My grandfather fought there in W.W.1. and he NEVER talked about his time fighting. Lots of stories about training before shipping out overseas, and about after the Armistice, but while he won metals and promotions (from Captain to Lt. Colonel at the end of the war) he didn't want to talk about what that life was like. Number 1 in Top suck = German Extermination Camp Number 2 in total suck = Japanese POW camp. |

any requests for weapons to be shown in the various photos?
For what I have planned its going to be a series of photos around one main character (my wife) with a few supporting photos of other people. This weekend I plan to get a couple of shots of buildings to use as backdrops. |

Definitely look forward to the photos! Always lots of AK and AR shots in the post-apocalyptic world.
Sometimes all you need is some combination of elements that invoke the imagination. Here's one I took of highway, and it just happen to have a distant smoke cloud, and also a cloud formation. They sort of fit together rather well, so I processed it with some lens flare and curvature to make the scene look a nuke blast. This could be the initial "burning of the sky".
