Porter was born Jan Dec 22 2014 and he passed away on Feb 23 2015. He fought the good fight. While Porter did not die of cancer I believe this is a good quote but the late Stuart Scott
"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer,” Scott told the audience. “You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live.” I feel a little lost, but when people ask how I am doing, I just tell them everyday I put one foot in front of the other. I don't remember where I heard this but someone said you are going to have good days and bad days, you just have to make sure there are more good days then bad. I'm sad my son is gone, but I know he is taken care of. Some of you may remember me, I raised over $50,000 for follow ARFCOMMER Jeff Reed at the end of 2013 and I know Jeff welcomed him with open arms.
