That has to be as close to impossible as it gets.
ETA: And hell, is it the right move to firewall it here? As soon as you realize the mistake you made by that funny sound of aluminum scraping asphalt, just shut that bitch down and hope you keep it in one piece. He could have easily have got it back off the ground and stalled in. Which would be bad. |

Bent/damaged props can cause havoc with balance, add that he did go to full throttle, he is lucky that he didn't rip the engines from the mounts. |

He got extremely lucky that he was able to climb out after damaging his props like that. Amazing. Continuing with the gear-up landing after initial prop contact would probably have been smarter than firewalling it, but somehow this guy got away with it. I wonder if some nice gentleman from the FAA will be giving him a call. |
