I looked at some Tac pens just this week.  I like the look of the Boker pen w/ Bolt action

These pens are fantastic.

I have a tactical pen my dad gave me, it lives in my glove box.  I'm not really sure what else to do with it, I'm not going to carry that gargantuan thing in my pocket.

Man, when I was working with the local PD, there was a guy who had a Cross pen that had been converted to fire .22LR.  I think it was called The Negotiator or Dealmaker, Dealbreaker, something like that.  It was sold to LEO only and they didn't advertise.  The pen worked and all you did was twist the top, pull the bottom and let fly.  The round came out the false top.

I bought a couple of those silly Tac pens from BudK when they had a sale.  They're paperweights on my desk!

It is all about which ink cartridge the pen uses. I prefer Mont Blanc rollerball over Space Pens, so I use the Prometheus Writes in titanium way more than the Hinderer offerings.

This. I carry a pen at work and it's the only one I didn't break in the first week. Been going strong for a few months now actually. Will probably lose it soon

I want one of these but I wonder what the legalities of carrying one would be, I believe they are classified as an AOW?

I have the pen and pencil set.  Did you guys replace the ink cartridge with the Fisher Space Pen refill?  It is now the perfect pen - it writes in any climate, it writes in any position, and it can easily be driven through any skull!

I'd like one, but I prefer gel ink. I haven't found one that I like, that accepts gel refills.

Mine has a rubber stylist tip and tacticool light at the other end, so I can blind old people when assessing their pupils.

I bought two different Uzi pens off of Woot a while back and hate them! They have no cap and the tip doesn't retract so how the hell am I supposed to carry them without a fucking pocket protector?

Nothing screams "I'm a tactical tier one operator" like a tactical pen in a pocket protector.
