OTAs are already underway and minicamps start in a couple of weeks so I figured we might as well get the 2016 thread underway.

In, and may as well make some ridiculously early predictions too:
Raiders and Jags will be the most improved teams in their divisions, Jags will win theirs, Raiders or Chiefs win the West but both make it to the playoffs. North and West will be the most competitive divisions in the AFC. Teams in the playoffs from the AFC: Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, Raiders, Chiefs, Jaguars. Sanchez is going to get replaced by Lynch outright at some point even though Lynch probably won't be the starter at the beginning of the season. AFC teams most likely to spectacularly implode at some point in the season: Jets and Bengals. Some are out there, some are obvious and all are in May so all it takes is a couple of injuries at major positions at any team to change it all around, but what the hell. |
|
Broncos Superbowl LI champs, 12-4 season, AFCW winner, AFC 2nd seed behind Patriots, defeat Green Bay.
Should probably get my bet in now for the best odds :) |

pats
double digit wins afc east champs maybe afc championship maybe super bowl fucking yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn |

Cowboys will have an epic running game.
Yeah, I am really going out on a limb with that one. |

Quoted: Cowboys will have an epic running game. Yeah, I am really going out on a limb with that one. View Quote LOL no shit, you're waaaaaaay out on a limb with that one. I think their running game may let them win their division, but who knows, that division is just plain weird. All I can say for sure is someone will win it...even if they're sitting at 8-8 at the end of the year. ETA: The NFC East also gets the AFC North this year, so another bold prediction: An AFC North defense knocks out an NFC East starting QB at some point during the season. If I had to bet on which...well the Steelers may be causing Wentz to playing sooner than the Eagles expect. Oh and kinda related another prediction, either the Steelers, Bengals or Ravens will probably cause RG III to be sitting down for a few games at some point in the year too. |

I'm looking forward to seeing what Devante Parker and Jay Ajayi can do. If the O line turns out decent I think he Ajayi can have a big year. Parker is going to step up and be the no1 receiver they have been looking for and Landry is a fucking stud.
D line is looking good as well. I'm happy they brought back Wake. The man is a fucking beast! Sounds like they are going to let the D line t off on qb's this season. It should be fun to watch. |

Broncos CB Aqib Talib got shot in his right leg.

So far the Niners are not favored in any of the games on the schedule, I hope we get a good draft pick...

The Milwaukee Journey had an article about the Packers LB, Jayrone Elliot today... if stats could tell a story.... Quote: With a small sample size on an NFL field, all Elliott has done is make plays. Consider his pass-rush efficiency. Elliott had three sacks in 88 pass-rush snaps last season, recording one sack every 29 rushes, according to Pro Football Focus. Matthews recorded one sack every 49 rushes. Julius Peppers had one sack every 41 rushes. Mike Neal, the departed outside linebacker, had one sack every 108.5 rushes. |

How did I miss that news today? Someone hacked into the NFL’s account and at 12:36 PM ET tweeted, “We regret to inform our fans that our commissioner, Roger Goodell, has passed away. He was 57. #RIP” Eight minutes later, the hacker tweeted, “Oi, I said Roger Goodell has died. Don’t delete that tweet.” A minute later, the hacker acknowledged he was a hacker, saying “OK, OK, you amateur detectives win. Good job”. http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/06/07/twitter-hack-nfl-roger-goodell-death-hoax |
