get out of this empty(or nearly so) jar of peanut butter?
I'm trying to impress on my kids how frugal my mother was in regards to food resources, and they don't believe me. Or they just don't care, having lived a sheltered modern life. So, in your experience, how much more can be squeezed out of this jar of peanut butter?  Attached File |

Microwave it and pour out the molten PB... atleast one more sandwich in there.

We would eat the same pot of beans for 2 weeks. 5 of us. We used light bread with the crust peeled off and sugar added to water to make syrup and have breakfast at times. We were poor and I got punched in the face for asking why we would fill the tub up with water before it got cut off yet my parents could always afford cigs. Good times.

That’s nowhere near enough for a sandwich. Peanut butter sandwiches should be THICC
