At this time I am home due to work at the power plants being on hold due to the weather. I have cut the grass, cleaned the goldfish pond, redid the invisible fence for the dog, cooked many meals,cleaned the guns, got the wife running from me, spent time answering the work emails, dug a trench in rock, weeded the garden. The fishing buddy is on vacation, my son who shoots with me is working. damn I am bored. |
Oh sh-t I am in 68 pages, and there are a few things I have missed after the tornado. I have several old Master Sargents on my block. Garand goodness was there. I had the water, the wood cook stove, and coffee at 0500. We bonded together, and orders were shouted out. I haven't found the Gunney yet, but I am trained in medical. Coffee was at 0500, and work went from there. While several people on the next block had looters we had none. Is it from the crusty men down the street, I won't know. I was The Medic and I saw Garands, Fal's, 1911's, and more shotguns in tach. set up then I could count. When I went out to check for outhers hurt at 3am, I was told your home is safe. Firearms were everywhere, in fact when the first NG commander tried to come down our block, he was in a ford tarus. with no logos. he was quick to report situation secure. We got all kinds of help the next AM. |

Thank you for the suggestion. I was glued to the story for the entire week when I was not working. This made me look at what I have done, I still have work to do but I am not a sheeple. |
