That they do. I've got a decent collection of airsoft, they're fun as hell for blasting soda cans. But I don't see why in the hell these kids feel the need to be posers. Sometimes it's just fun to play around, but there is a limit. If you're going to go all out, at least take the time to do it right. There's still some serious mil-sim airsofters, and they're little different from military re-enactors, with the exception that they shoot each other with plastic BB's, but the damn kids have ruined Airsoft - a lot of the serious players have ditched Airsoft because of this.  I personally just use mine for fun around the house. I wouldn't be too hot about skirmishing with people I don't know well, again, because of the "damn kids" factor. The only person I've ever skirmished against has been my brother. We'd just put on BDU's and chase each other around the house. It's just the kind of stuff that brothers do. |

I think airsoft has gone too far when fifty year old adults run around with toys guns and "tactical" clothing that the real "Navy Seal Special Forces Recon Snipers" use. I am sure it is a fun game but people just take it too far. I love seeing kids that post pictures of themselves posing with their airsoft guns and claim that they are real firearms. You know, when someone posts a picture of them self with a "real" M249. |
We do the same thing at my house. Just be careful not to get too close, those damn little BBs will start breaking skin. Heres a pic after I got my ass handed to me. I think all the alcohol slowed my reflexes. Notice my tatical gear I was wearing shorts and sandals too.

Oh God, that kid is awesome. No, not in a good way either. One of these days I just want to walk up to an airsoft kid with the real deal, and explain to him that unlike his fucking $500 Japanese BB gun, I can kill things with my toy. "war re-enactors" are exactly the same thing, so are the paintball fags(not that there's anything wrong with that). speaking of fags(not that there's anything wrong with that), there are plenty of fat-ass, milk-skinned, freckled tards running around here in in their surplus camo on weekends maneuvers. check the recent threads. there was one with some coneheads camo'd out in a texas(?) scrub field shooting rocks. only thing is they can actually accidently kill themselves playing with real guns. the thing that kills me is the camelbacks these tards all seem to wear. haha! f*cking floors me! what the f*ck are you guys "maneuvering" for anyway? muslim squirrels? stop making fun of that poor kid already - him and his brother with the light-saber. |
