My Go Time Gear has pretty much held true to their prices. 30 round pmags w/o window $14.20 each. They are on back order but they communicate well. Wideners Doesn't seem like they have changed their ammo prices at all. But they are running out as well. Anyway, just trying to help everyone out. Hope it does. They raised the case price $15 on their Privi M193 and M855 and are now saying it's sold out. When they get more in, it will be $15 a case more. Highly suspicious timing. Great! I was gonna order 2,000 rounds from Wideners, but stupidly kept putting it off. |

Thanks for the list. Guys...consider this a consumer watchdog list. No need to beat the guy up.
Fact is that some will milk the political situation. BTW, there are NO FREE MARKETS anywhere. Not even in the good old USA. Some markets are freer than others to misquote Animal Farm. |

Looks like Brownells is GTG
May want to add them to Good Guys. |

As far as the M855 goes, I purchased 400 rounds (2 x 200) at the current price of $78/200 on October 22nd. Still the same price. As far as the 1000 round case, I don't remember exactly the cost then, as I only had $150ish to spend. I'm pretty sure it was a bit cheaper before October 22nd compared to current prices and that's why I jumped on the 400 rounds when I did. But as far as the post-election gouging goes, they haven't budged. *shrugs* |

+1 on my go time gear. I ordered stuff on Friday night. Got a conformation that wasn't automated the next morning. Prices stayed the same.

Bump to keep this on page ONE! This needs to be seen by every seller/dealer thinking about fucking over the very people that keep them in business.
Did Spikes jack their prices on everything? I thought they were good guys. |

Thanks, Cliff @ Go Time Gear Oh... PS... Ammo is nearly ALL out of stock from our distributors. I went on to grab a few thousand rounds of CCI MiniMags .22LR........ even that is sold out! Yikes |

I know for a fact that AMMOMAN was charging 209 per thousand for 762X39 last night, now it's 229. They were also charing 139 per 500 of 223...now it's 149...but it's still "on sale." I can't say for a FACT what the prices were yesterday as I didn't look that closely but the first 4 items in the 7.62x39 section are all 209/1k as of 2 minutes ago and as for the price increase to $149/500 for .223 that does seem suspicious as it's $269/1k which would be about their normal discount for the higher quantity if it was $139 for 500. However even if the price did go up I wouldn't call that one item increase to be "gouging" based on the incredible volume of ammo sales going on right now. Just saying maybe we need to check closely or wait for more than one report before putting someone on the "confirmed" list Sorry, I wish I had my sales reciept from the other day, but I know I paid 209 and 259 per thousand of 762 and 233. And now it's 229 and 269. I understand ten bucks isn't much certainly this doesn't fall in the CTD catagory. Just saying prices did go up over night. Not sure how they stand with other brands. |

I just checked some ammo prices at Sportsman's Guide, and they don't appear to have gone up. Yeah, but they probably raised their shipping costs 20% instead. Sorry, I never miss an opprotunity to bash SG on their shipping cost since they charged me $14 to ship a cartidge sized laser bore sighter that I could have drove down to their warehouse to pick up for a fraction of the cost. The wife ordered it for my birthday once .... lesson learned. |

I noticed Bud's gun shop just had the price on their stripped Double Star lowers go up $20. They raised the SIG 556 Commando from $1430 something to $1930. Now it is "Out Of Stock" so I will say that there is not much wrong with raising the price if you are cleaned out at the previous price. |

I just ordered a half pallet of G3/HK-91 magazines.
I got them cheaper, so I also just lowered my price on them. Down from $4.00 each for used 20 round aluminum mags to $2.35 each. New ones will be $4.50 once I get them in. I am all for the free market, and won't condemn those who raised prices. That is their right as a merchant. Instead, I will just lower mine and take all the money. Chess, not checkers baby. I really need to get myself a PTR-91 to take advantage of all these cheap mags. |

Thanks for catching the CDNN thing. Not sure how I fucked that one up. |

When demand increases, prices naturally follow. This is a basic economic principle. If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Frankly, I am amazed that so many of you were crying about Obama being president, and now you are voicing the same type of notions that he does (i.e., "gouging")
Seems like some of you need an education past the 8th grade. |

Wideners has had comments on the Prvi for months and months that they would have to raise prices. So after waiting months and months they raise the price a tiny bit and somehow that's gouging? That's a nice welcome for a new sponsor.
The price of the M-193 200 round packs was $71. Now it's $73. Let me see $2 times 5 per case would be $10, not $15. Also it is in stock. So Mattja fails. I really don't see what the whining is about. They did have a limited quantity sale going for $350 shipped. When that quantity ran out on election night they extended the sale, adding more at the sale price. That ran out soon afterwards. People fucked around until well after the election was over to order and they missed out on the sale. Boo-fuckin-hoo. I give them bonus points for extending the sale when they sure as hell didn't need to. They will sell every last round at whatever price they want. I'll be happy to buy from them. I'd recommend putting them in the good guys list. |
|
I just picked up two uppers from Midwest Indistries and thanked them for not raising the prices to capitilize on peoples fear. The woman I spoke to thanked me and promised they will only raise prices when they are raised by the distributers first. Thank you Midwest Indistries.

When all of the "cheap" places run out early, the "expensive places will have a captive market, no? If there really was a cut in supply, then yes. Say if there was a ban. Right now, there is no cut in supply. Demand has increased, and I have no doubt the manufacturers will rise up and supply will increase to the same degree before long. So at most there may be temporary periods where those maintaining prices are out of stock- but it will not be long term. Now, if the laws change and supply is cut, then those who raise prices highest will have items in stock when nobody else does. But that has not happened yet. |
