I looked for news, links and nothing yet. It's hot off the press.
It's 5 minutes if you are interested. BREAKING NEWS: ATF's Frame/Receiver Rule VACATED!!! |

Was that the one where uppers for new designs had to be serialized or some shit? Fuck all that.

Quoted: Can’t watch…summary? View Quote IIRC, ATF made a new "final rule" that P80 receivers are firearms and have to be manufacturer engraved. Even though they've said for years (a decade or more?) that they aren't firearms and therefore aren't subject to USC 922 whatever that regulates manufacturer marking requirements. This court ruling vacates the ATF's final rule. Maybe they'll appeal it? I kind of hope they do. Justice Thomas is in a foot-in-ass-breaking-off mood. |

This ruling is likely going to help the guy who got clipped for auto sear drawings too. The ATF can’t regulate anything below 80% complete.
FPC is absolutely fucking awesome. I just joined and donated last month but I’m going to go donate again. |

Celebratory banana gif because I was educated in NY and can't properly express my excitement with words.

Their guy who testified here against our state legislature's attempt to ban sport utility rifles kicked ass. I ordered their "Save the Dogs" tee shirt last week and am sending them $$$ next week. |

Thanks FPC. Imagine if the NRA this kind of thing for the last 40 years.

Looks like they are due another donation from me! Great job keeping up the fight!

Quoted: I got the "Stack up and try" t-shirt. Man, FPC & GOA are neck and neck for which money was best spent. Either way, it's a bang for my buck years of NRA donations never got us. I have to support the good work that my brother in .40 is doing. |

Was going to buy another gun this weekend, I guess I’ll send the money to FPC instead. There’s more than one way to celebrate independence.

Nice!
So what does this mean for Illinois and our rule? I'm assuming it still stands, but will basically be a loss if it gets to Federal court. |

I'm guessing they ruled atf doesn't have the authority to make the change not that the change itself is unconstitutional. Doubt if this helps with state laws or even blocks congress from doing this as a law in the future. |
