Dude he (guy who was just interviewed) totally shut down reporter lady when she brought up "assault rifle", interrupted her and interjected correct terminology. Who is this guy? I'd love to hire him! Damn - I missed that - any quotes? She asked him if he had seen the shooter directly, he said no. She then asked if he had heard that it was an "assault rifle" and he immediately interrupted her explaining that "it is called and AK-47 rifle and that there are pictures of it all over his facebook page that anyone can see" and then the reporter lost her excited tone and said "yes yes we've seen those and shared them with our viewers" and immediately moved on to non-gun related topics. It was glorious! on the KWCH.com news feed for today it was 21:55:00 or so. |

Major Kudos to that officer that went in and immobilized the shooter. This could have been very bad. Remember Paris? They had 2 shooters kill 100+ people, Paris could have used this 1 police officer from Newton, KS.

UPI Story
Doesn't mention the shooter's name or weapon(s) used. I'm guessing this is the "Sanitized" version that the MSM will be pushing: HESSTON, Kan., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- At least two people were killed in central Kansas Thursday afternoon in a shooting at a facility that manufactures lawn care products -- and as many as 20 others have been injured, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. local time at Excel Industries, located in the town of Hesston, near Wichita, police said. Multiple people were also reportedly injured in the gunfire, some seriously. The Wichita Eagle reported that dispatchers cited multiple victims and that the shooting suspect "was down." View Quote |

View Quote 9 minutes from first shot to cops on scene is a hell of a long time to be waiting on the cops. Not bashing the cops as I'm sure they did all they could to get there as fast as possible but just pointing out the obvious that waiting for someone else to save you sucks when every second matters. |

Any town in Kansas is a bad place to push gun control. Even our flaming liberals like guns.
Hesston is a small town and I honestly don't think it would be exaggerating to say that probably 75% of their population is pro-gun. |

Harvey County, Kansas, Sheriff T. Walton says between 20 and 30 people were wounded and somewhere between four and seven are dead, including the shooter. The shooter was killed by a law enforcement officer. The Hesston plant was not the only shooting location, Sheriff Walton said. "He was traveling and shooting from his car." No, it won't. The dude's black, so Obama isn't going to say anything about it any way, shape, or form. If it's BLM, the news will keep their mouths shut. Even if the dude is a Muslim, unless he was a middle-eastern dude wearing a turban and shouting snackbars, they'll keep shut. And even if it was a middle-eastern dude in a turban shouting snackbars, unless they had clear proof of him being in contact with ISIS, they'd still mostly keep their mouths shut. Black people murdering other people doesn't fit the agenda. |

I guarantee if the shooter was white, his name and photos would be headlines everywhere, this isn't the first time they've kept silent on identity when it doesn't entirely fit their agenda... The shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. local time at Excel Industries, located in the town of Hesston, north of Wichita, police said. Many of the 14 injured remain in critical condition in local hospitals. About 150 were working at the time of the shooting spree.
The suspected shooter, identified only as an Excel employee, was shot and killed by authorities. He used an assault rifle, perhaps a pistol as well, and appeared to have shot his victims at random Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton said. |
