I heard there was going to be a Predator prequel and I had a trace amount of interest. The Predator (2018) was a shitshow, but Predators (2010) was surprisingly watchable. But then I found out this new Predator film was going to be about a 5' 7" 120 pound Native American girl fighting a Predator in the 17th century.

Hulu funded it and is also working on unrelated Alien and Predator series. Dan Trachtenberg, in my opinion, is overrated. I recall him from back in his podcast days; pretty uninspired guy that went viral because he made a short based on Portal. 10 Cloverfield Lane was decent, but its a riff on a million other stories, so there's allot to mine from. |
