9 more boys, 7-3 should have been 10 but the Sens got some bounces early.

Second time in the playoffs I have seen Kunitz score that SAME breakaway goal.

Letang really redeemed himself for playing a little shaky in the early parts of the game.

I'm stressing about the Hawks game tonight. They'd better come out with some fire, if they go down 3-1 I don't like their chances. If they even it up, I think they win it in 6.

Playoff hockey is certainly an adventure... Who would have thought the Wings would be bringing it to the Hawks like this?... Or that the Islanders would have given the Pens a run for their money like they did? Lower seeded teams are ALWAYS dangerous. GO PENGUINS!! |

Good. The bloody toilet flush is awful. |

I can't say I'm really surprised that the Wings are giving it to the Hawks. I attribute it to years of good coaching and the organizational atmosphere of winning. Sometimes players/teams have won for so long that, from top to bottom, they just refuse to accept losing.
ETA: And then there's Alfredsson |

ETA: And then there's Alfredsson I'll share my thoughts on it after the Wings' playoff run is over. I must admit it is strange position to be in as a fan - they've been so good, so long, that they've been prohibitive favorites. It's interesting - and a little nerve wracking (as a fan) - to be on the underdog side of it. I think I mentioned before, now I know what the Coyotes and other underdog teams felt like playing the Wings in years past - the Hawks are so good it's like they are the Wings of old. Which is no surprise given that it's a Bowman built team. |

Where can I find a live feed of the Hawks-Wings game? Can't stream online through NBC because none of the local providers have an agreement with them.

Wow is right! I'd love to see a Wings-Kings WCF. Talk about hard hitting!

Great game by Detroit, man they are really frustrating the hawks

Looks like the rookies on the Wings never got the memo that they are not supposed to beat the Blackhawks!!

You'll have to qualify that statement Dawn... Chicago is better than the Wings in every category with the possible exception of coaching. Huh? The Wings under preformed in regular season. I see it here annually. It's a constant with SoCal sports teams. They are a much more aggressive, hard hitting, gritty team then Chicago this year. I watched the match up's line by line, and you never sucked as much as you played at. Adbulkater, Bertuzzi...you know who to target, and you win by taking other players out of their game. Our most productive line against you was our third v your top line. A good coach would have looked at that, and tried to replicate it. Chicago like their pretty passes, they like space...they get neither. We swept them too. They aren't that good against a team like the Ducks, or the Wings. Or the Kings. It's likely going to be the Wings and Kings WCF. I predict lots of injuries, lots of blood, lots of media, 2 suspensions, and Berry Melrose soiling his pants on national TV. Pens still take the cup. It's good for hockey. |
