These were one of the sexiest racing cars of the 90's! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-56/?utm_source=dm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2021-05-20 Link has more photos. |

Bring a trailer and racing junk are dangerous websites, eventually you wind up buying something...

Practically a super sportscar. For the period. for around $40,000.
a lot of car for the money. |

Wonder how today’s kids who grew up on paddle shifters would handle this?
Old school IMSA was great. Current IMSA is putting out a great product, too. TC |

Was #2 on my list.
#1 was the Acura NSX before those 2, it was the VR3000 Mitsubishi / Dodge - whichever had the all wheel steer! |

300zx caused a lot of foxbody owners to go into credit card debt
lots of tears were had, turns out that NA V8s aren't always what they're cracked up to be |

Cool. I wish I had the space and cash for about a dozen race cars.
|
|
I remember driving these in the OG Gran Turismo and GT2 games

I've got a 91 TT thats pretty nice. It has a bunch of Stillen upgrades and has been reliable. I did a lot of work on the interior and exterior, it's really a cool car....
Why pay $500K? I'll let mine go for $15K |
|
|
You guys see that GNX that sold last week, $205K.

I've sat in that car and also the Johnny O'Connell car. They're pretty badass and were very fast in their day. Hoping someone buys this one and does some HSR/vintage racing with it.

Trying to do anything in the engine bay of those is a nightmare.

View Quote Could have at least rolled the cut out fenders instead of leaving them sharp ass sheet metal. |

The interior of that thing looks like something out of the 90's.

Dad and I used to go to Portland International to watch IMSA. The GI Joe Camel grand prix. All of the liveries were great back then too. Like Castrol Jaguars, Miller Porsche, etc.. |

I can neither confirm, nor deny that the 1991 TT will peg the speedometer at 160, at which, it feels like it's governed to not exceed such speed......if one were to travel at such delicious velocities.

At this point I'd even take a clean stock 300ZX. It's been awhile since I've seen one.

If I had the extra cash, I'd buy it and let the cops chase me on the street. I remember that car.

Had a black 90TT in the 90s and a red 91TT early in the 2000s ..Fun cars but a total bitch to work on
