Billy Gilmour tested positive for the Space AIDS after the England game and is isolating for 10 days so he’ll miss the Croatia match.

Wife and I went a a brewery and they had the Belgium game on.
Place went nuts at the first goal being disallowed. Plenty of people knew players names and club teams/history. We may have to check it out again closer to the finals |

Quoted: This is his fourth…pretty crazy…the kid about gets it every time he starts. PL, Champions League, FA Cup, now Euros. He may have exposed Mason Mount and Ben Chillwell so they also have to quarantine. View Quote Mount and Chilwell “self-isolating” is…weird. The entire Scottish team and the manager hugged Billy G post-match, which is what caused Mount and Chilwell to have to isolate. Why isn’t the entire Scottish team and their manager not being forced into isolation? Methinks fuckery be afoot. On a brighter note, maybe Grealish will get a start with Mount being out. |

Quoted: Waiting on test results? Seems like they're teasing out info in front of big deal View Quote Mount and Chilwell continue to test negative but are still being forced to isolate and miss the Czech Republic game. Per a statement from the FA: “The entire squad had lateral flow tests on Monday afternoon and all were again negative, as was the case with Sunday's UEFA pre-match PCR tests.” |

England moves on, Scotland is eliminated.
Not really sure what Scotland's plan was. I feel bad for Robbo. |

Denmark puts up four to eliminate Wales.
Austria and Italy up next |

View Quote His first two touches were just sick. I may just have to subscribe to CBS streaming to continue watching him and Serie A this coming season since ESPN lost the rights (which is why they're bragging so much about getting La Liga ). |

Useless trivia note: Chelsea have more players in the last 16 than any other club

Quoted: Useless trivia note: Chelsea have more players in the last 16 than any other club KTBFFH View Quote I'd like England to do well to get Hendo some experience. Spain for Thiago but both are being used as subs. Big Shaq is on fire for Switzerland. I'd like to see him hang around as a super sub/ rotation guy. Jota is doing well as well. I think he'll put pressure on the front three to produce I keep pulling for Belgium though, great beers and I like KdB and Lukaku. I wish they'd have called up Origi though |

Hahahaha. Felt bad for Gini. The whole team looked flat. I was hoping the Belgium/Portugal game would be better but what a strike from Hazard |
|
I started as a neutral in the Belgium-Portugal match but forgot how much I hate Pepe (plus he looks like James Carville). He should have been sent off after that cheapshot many seconds after the whistle had blown on the far touchline. As good as Bryck is, he missed that one badly.
Hated seeing KGB and Eden Hazard hurt, but if they can't play it will make things easier for my Italians. Dutch weren't playing well even before the de Ligt red card - that just sealed the deal. Zero shots on goal? de Boor might as well fly directly to the States. Maybe he can get a USL job. Patrik Schick is having a great tournament. |

Dave puts Spain ahead 2-1 early in the 2nd half
ETA that was Dave’s first international goal for Spain |

Mbappe has his penalty saved in the shootout, Switzerland wins.
France and Croatia are out. Couple of entertaining matches today. |
|
great matches today, good 2nd half comebacks from Croatia and the Swiss.

Quoted: Mbappe has his penalty saved in the shootout, Switzerland wins. View Quote How many did Mbappe miss today during the match? His penalty was practically down the middle. ETA: So, the 2016 Euro Champions and both the 2018 World Cup winners and runners up have all been eliminated. The next nine games should be great. |

My two countries (Italy and Switzerland) are making me extatic this year !!
Now let’s get those overblown Belgians |

After yesterday’s matches, here’s to hoping the Eng v Ger match isn’t a snooze fest.
Lots of speculation on whether Mount will start. |

Quoted: It’s really because neither Germany or England are much of a team.... Honestly the second half of the tournament is inferior View Quote Could be true. England has a leader but he's on the bench. England, Germany, Portugal and Spain have the same problems Barça has, tons of individual talent but no cohesion. I was pulling for the Swiss yesterday for Shaqiri but the team has a lot of heart. |
|
Im being patriotic here, but really the team that showed team spirit AND nice play has been Italy so far.
Much much less boring than Spain. |
|
Frank de Boer has resigned (spelled correctly this time )
KDB and Eden Hazard unlikely for Italy match Friday...unless Roberto Martinez is sandbagging. |
|
Did Sancho fuck Southgate's wife, or slap her on the ass? Just trying to figure out why he isn't playing...at all.

Quoted: Eden may not even be the best Hazard on the team. View Quote But Belgium sucks in term of play. And they suck twice more without KDB If Italy manages to get Chielini back to control Lukaku, Italy could have a relatively easy game. Without some classy moves by KDB they would have lost against Denmark and Portugal and rightfully so |

LoL what a miss by mueller
England is going to win with a Single shot on goal. And another tiny 1-0 Kinda pathetic |

Hazard in that role, it kinda reminds me of Tuchel using Hudson-Odoi as a wingback. Even if KDB misses the game, I still don't think Italy will just walk away with it but if they do, it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. |

Belgium was to destroy Italy, with the same team with even better defenders, and Italy had way less play.... 2-0 and it was done. I honestly think Belgium hasn’t much of a gameplan, except défend very low and pray that lukaku or KDB invents something. They were pathetic against Denmark and Portugal |

one big advantage that England has is that it could play 6 of their of 7 game on their own turf

Although the Mbappe to Liverpool rumors are back again I don't know how that would line up Mbappe Mané Bobby Salah Fabinho Hendo/Thiago Robbo Van Dijk Konate Trent? |

The Ukrainian manager looks like he's down to scrap with the Swedish manager.
