A truck overturned in Georgia — and dumped its 40,000-pound load of beer onto the roadway, officials said. The Bud Light reportedly spilled across Interstate 85 during a Sunday afternoon crash in Troup County, which lies along the Alabama border. One person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, The LaGrange Daily News reported. Officials said they are investigating the 4:30 p.m. crash, which involved the beer truck and at least three other vehicles near exit 18 of the interstate, WXIA reported. The incident shut down all northbound traffic for hours, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. .. During the closure, one woman said it took three hours to get to an exit. “First time for me to be on an interstate shut down,” she wrote on Facebook. “Law enforcement did an excellent job routing the traffic off I 85 at Exit 18 and then back on the interstate past the wreckage.” https://www.al.com/news/2021/04/40000-pounds-of-bud-light-spills-near-alabama-georgia-line-during-police-chase.html |

Eta “First time for me to be on an interstate shut down,” she wrote on Facebook. “ WTH. She must have just got her license or doesn't drive much. |

We make red beer from this type. Its performance is suitable for operating in consistent operational mode.
Keeps us sharp on the hunt for two weeks of solid drinking, morning to night and when relieving bladder in the wee wee hours. (you don't want to lose prime when pissing so you chug one while pissing) |

Who measures beer by weight?
The story would have been far more impactful Had they said "truck loses 40,000 cans of beer on the road" . Maybe they wanted to dissuade the locals from shovelling the unbroken ones up into laundry baskets. |

That's less than ten miles from my house. I'll swing by and pick up some intact ones if anybody wants.
Had to get off at Exit 18 northbound? It's ten miles to the next exit. Long detour. |

said it took three hours to get to an exit.
Had they assembled the GD drunks that could have had that 40,000lbs of beer gone in an hour. |
