50 yards.
HERO frontline troops entrenched just 50 yards from a vast army of Russians set to invade Ukraine vowed to fight to “their last breath and bullet” last night. A Sun team was granted access to a crack Ukrainian unit dug into World War One-style trenches closest to Vladimir Putin's 175,000-strong force. And shots rang out as the outgunned and outnumbered defenders vowed to hold back the menace threatening to trigger a World War III escalation. A Russian heavy machine gunner opened up over the maze of barbed wire and sandbag defences through a pall of freezing fog as we took cover in a bunker. But a burly Ukrainian lieutenant grabbed his Kalashnikov assault rifle to counter the threat - and shrugged: “The bastards are sending us their Christmas cards again.” The quip typified the incredible resilience of the band of fighters who have held back the might of Russian-backed separatist forces for nearly eight years. More than 13,000 from both sides have died in the bloody conflict which has evolved into a Somme-like stand-off along a 250-mile “contact line” snaking through contested Donbas. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17062530/inside-ukrainian-unit-trenches-yards-russian-army-invasion/ |

Not surprising that this nearly decade old bullshit conflict dominates news headlines now that Epstein's slam hog and arbiter of young runaways is on trial.

I wish we had the balls to give them weapons. If we can leave billions of weapons in Afghanistan, we should give these guys all they need. What will Hunter do with out the Burisma gas board payments?

Apparently, NATO told Putin to pound sand when he requested that Ukraine and Georgia not be allowed to join NATO.
Putin has threatened pro-active violence to prevent it. I think NATO should take him at his word and stop trying to advance the fucking Globalist agenda. Nationality matters. |

Meanwhile on our own borders FJB gives no fucks. Yes we made a deal and should stick to it. But I’m not going to say we should send boots on the ground. Too many times we send our best to deal with the worst. Thank you to all that served.
Edit let the drones do the support work. |

That area is at war constantly. They have been brought up as soldiers, and trained by the Russians using Russian gear and Russian tactics.
As much as we want to distance ourselves for them, imagine Texas seceding, 2a patriots moving there, and then the federal government threatening attack with the only thing between the two factions being international pressure. It sucks to be the Ukrainian soldiers, especially knowing the opposing world powers probably arnt coming to your help. |

Yawn.
Fuck Ukraine and everyone who thinks it's any of your business. |

Why does the US hate UKR so much that we sent them those cammies?

Europe is going to Europe and the middle east is going to middle east. Time to let them go it on their own. We've wasted enough lives and money there.

I served. My father served. Both my grandfathers served. My son will be old enough real soon. Not sure of his intentions, but I sure as hell don't want him dying in a muddy ditch in some town none of us can pronounce for this administration. This is not our fight. |

Europe's problem. Did they forget where appeasement takes them?

Fort Moultrie. Bunker Hill. Bastogne. It's possible to hold out if God is on your side. Plenty of examples of the opposite too. May God be with them.

Sucks to be Ukraine but I'm not willing to die for their soil, nor am I willing to have the service age people I care for do the same. Allowing nations on Russia's borders into NATO would be insanity.

Four years to undo the last administration’s fuck ups or good works, depending on the shitbird that wins the latest election. |
