must have been a new employee at earl scheib. they forgot to put the paint thinner in the washer tank when they were done.

I am a little concerned about the "eldabrock carburetor " and the "spark wires" too. Is the carburetor a Chinese knockoff?

Looks like the masking tape or whatever is still on there Take a look at the front and back glass. Meh, give me an afternoon, six pack of beer and a razor blade and I'll get it done. Overspray on glass is easy. |

There was a company offering $50 paint jobs here a while back. A guy I knew took a car in and it turned out that you needed to have it masked off already. They painted everything, glass, tires, engine, door panels, everything.

I would bet the prep work was top notch as well . I would not be shocked if the paint all came off in a car wash.

Heck I'm just surprised to see one of those still on the road.

I'm surprised there isn't overspray on the ground around the car. So we know it at least rolls, possibly under it's own power. Them Eldabrock 650's are fast!

|
The more I look at it the more I'm not convinced they painted it with the windows rolled down. So I guess that means it's got a custom matching interior.

I dont even like to see overspray in wheel wells
that car is disturbing looks like they did mask those super awesome 90's sealed beam headlights ETA: masked the taillights also |

One of my trucks had a $700 paint job done by the P.O that looked kind of like that.
There is overspray on EVERYTHING. Wheelwells, framerails, weatherstripping etc. And the paintjob lasted all of about 5-6 years before the roof started bubbling. Now the paint comes off in chunks. Poor thing will get bare metaled as soon as I have the time and space to deal with it. Shitty part is going to be trying to find new weatherstripping, NLA at dealerships, nobody reproduces it. |

Winston, eh? I can be there in...
...shit, I'm already here. I probably know the guy. |

Lol, overspray on every window and light housing, and a conspicuously missing front plate location that is unpainted.

Anyone buying this should get some spare parts. I recommend starting with a spare eldabrock carburetor.
