Which models are must haves in a collection?
|

Browning Hi Power
CZ 75B Sig P226/229 Beretta 92FS/M9 S&W 59 Series (the only 1 I don't have) |
|

Sig 229/226.
Beretta 92ish. CZ 75. S&W 5906. Ruger P85. Luger. Walther P38. |

I'd say-
Beretta 92 (pick your poison) CZ-75 (again, lots of different variants here) BHP SIG P226 S&W 59XX There are others I'm probably missing. |

I have an IWI Jericho that I though I would like more than I do. 100% reliable (with good magazines) but the grip just doesn’t fit my hand. Frankly, that is the same comment I most often hear when I let other people with bigger or smaller hands. Just something about that grip.

CZ-75 and it's variants.
I wish someone would make a 1911 scaled down to 9mm. NO NOT A SPRINGFIELD EMP. That only alters one dimension. I've got a Kimber Micro 9, which is pretty fucking awesome. I'd love something like that with a 4" barrel and a grip sufficient for a 7 or 8 round magazine, keeping all the other dimensions the same. A scaled-down 9mm 1911. Not a full 1911 with a fat barrel in it and magazines that require ribs to space properly in a .45ACP sized frame. That Browning model they did in .380ACP is the size I'm talkin. |

Luger P08
Browning Hi Power Walther P38 Beretta 92FS/M9 |

SIG P226 fits my hand like a custom made glove & I shoot it so. I like the High Power, but it points lateral off midline for me.
1911A1s also fit my hand well, so if there was a 9mm Metal frame, I would be all over that shit. Fuck HK—shitty customer service & mediocre Guns vs SIG & Glock or S&W or Ruger. That’s how it is.... |
|
Another vote for the beretta 92fs.
I'm a huge fan of the M9A3 |

It's a bit different mechanically than a 1911 but has pretty much the same controls minus the grip safety. 4" barrel, slightly smaller all around dimensionally, 8rds of 9mm in a single-stack mag. |

There were three noteworthy steel-framed carry pistols made between 1911 and 2005ish:
1911 P-35 CZ-75. All others suck, IMO. Maybe a Bren Ten would be cool. |

Surprisingly not a MiamiJBT or Beamy thread.
I like the Beretta 92FS. |
