Fuck them my great great great grandfather fought there as part of 15th SC Infantry, Co. I, CSA, in Kershaw's Brigade. He left family and neighbors there from Saluda and Lexington counties trying to preserve the freedom of South Carolina to forge it own democratically destiny.
I am guessing we are all going to have to make some decisions soon. |

If they show there will be a strong police presents. Very strong. Police are not going to stand by and watch them desecrate graves. It will be on national news. The majority of Americans will see them for who they are and it will make these Americans very mad. Especially after they shot a member of Congress.

What needs to be mentioned is that LE and Park Police, in the Gettysburg area, have robust "night-fighting" capabilities. At least that's what I've heard from talking to reenactor buddies of mine. It seems that there are plenty of scum bags that show up at night to find and steal artifacts from the war.
What also should be mentioned is that Gettysburg isn't an urban environment. You can't act poorly and then pull of your bandana and fade into the urban landscape. In fact locking down ingress and egress from Gettysburg would be relatively easy. Finally, while I observe the antics of this scum I leave it to LE to handle it IAW our laws. That being said if I came upon someone desecrating a grave, particularly at Gettysburg, they should hope that LE gets to them before I do. Not bragging or being an internet tough guy, just stating what I feel is a fact. I couldn't stand by for that. I'm sure there are many more than me that feel just as strongly. I fear that ANTIFA has no real idea of what bad looks like.....I don't mean Berkeley bad....I mean Fallujah bad. If they plan on desecrating graves at Gettysburg they may find out what a fight really looks like. Off topic but for those of you that haven't been to Gettysburg you owe it to yourself to make that journey. Plan for at lest 3 days and if you're able coordinate a tour through the Army War College at Carlisle barracks. You will never forget this.....that place is hallowed ground. |
