AK. Locals are probably using the same ammo, so I could theoretically replenish my ammo if I had to. And hopefully in the jungle you're not shooting too terribly far. Bullets have some heft to em, to boot. If you can get the ammo, you can get the guns. The best rifle for this situation is neither. Even a bolt would rot without maintenane over 3 years in a humid climate. You're fucked any which way without oil(yes, I know how that sounds) |

A. K. All the way.
I have learned how to keep my ARs from jamming. I have never learned how to make my AK jam. |

I hate this thread. And I hate anyone who picked AK. Shotgun |

99% of people responding here have never handled an AK, 50% dont even have an AR.

The only AK I ever had, sold it before I even shot it.
I have 9 AR15s. Part of me wants to say AK due to jungle conditions and potential for lack of maintenance, but if it ever failed WHY WHY DID I PICK THIS PIECE OF SHIT! |

I have a bunch of ARs and I want a AK for that, but really a glock would been fine. I don't only a glock either.

People who think the AK will be more reliable need to google rust.

Ill take my AK anyday. Chrome barrel, milled receiver, never jams. <3

AR15, it would be hard to find a trashcan in the jungle for the AK.
|
|
I'll use my AR out to 300 plus and aqwire more guns and ammo.

Jungle?
No resupply? Of your choices, I will take the AR15. Of MY choices? Colt's 1911A1, Caliber .45 |

AK - ALL THE WAY There is no argument that the AK is far more dependable
I'll take my soilid receiver Arsenal first. |

FAL. If the Rhodies and South Africans & Aussies could run em in those conditions so could I.

But seriously Kola King, I think I'd have to go AK on this one even though I think they belong in the garbage can too. Fact is if I'm going to be stranded in a foreign country in a jungle, I rather have the auto that requires the least amount of maintenance and shoots common ammo to the country I'd be in, regardless of its inferiority |
