Quoted: We can't have NFA items in NY, I have an AR pistol though. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: This is why AR pistols are stupid. Just SBR them and you don't have worry about Trump and the ATF making them illegal. We can't have NFA items in NY, I have an AR pistol though. SBRs are legal where I live. Have fun crossing over state lines with one without a little ATF "permission slip". The potential for REAL legal hassle exists, so I just bring an AR pistol when traveling. Not to mention that anyone who thinks just because an item is on the NFA list and registered it is somehow protected from being "bought back" and / or banned is in fantasy land. |

So the letter linked above says basically “it’s has a short barrel and a pistol brace and is designed to fired from the shoulder.“ Nothing about LOP.
Sooooo, how does ATF determine its “designed to be fired from the shoulder”? Just cuz? |

Using a brace allows you to build a firearm that's neither rifle or pistol so the AWB restrictions don't apply. |

I can't imagine there are many jobs in a country founded upon the principle of don't fuck with our weapons that are as humiliating as waking up every morning and putting on that Bureau of Absolute Tarded Fuckery badge.

Have had folks hopping from one foot to another on this for how long now? Will the bump stock case shed new light on this. Would be nice to see republicans to nut the fuck up on this and grow a pair and finally put an end to the over reach.
Allot of folks about to have a boating accident, I'll bet there are way more braces than bump stocks out there. |

Who actually cares about their job so much that they get all pedantic about bullshit like this?
They need to hire more paycheck coasters at the ATF. You know, the types of dudes that hang out in the breakroom or pretend to do important shit until it’s time to go home? |

Can't ADA be cited to overrule them?
Must be somebody w/wilted arms or lost their arms that can make an ADA case. |

View Quote Not yet. Key word in the letter is "May" Considering this letter was sent Aug 3rd, it's likely that samples were provided and found to be legal. |

Quoted: This is why AR pistols are stupid. Just SBR them and you don't have worry about Trump and the ATF making them illegal. View Quote First - They are not "stupid". Pistol laws are a lot different than rifle laws. Second - Laws vary by location. I some places you cannot have an AR-15 RIFLE, or any SBR. However, you can have an AR pistol. |

No, that precise measurement isn’t actually in law or formal regulation. It has just been informally stated that LOP of <13” are “safer” or some such wording. |

Also....the part about contacting the WH seems very odd. Went to Q's website and I didn't see anything about a letter. Honey Badgers are still available on back-order.
Don't go shoot an ATF agent just yet. This smells like a hoax. |
