Wow Jones's team poster-bombed where I voted. Had them stuck all the way up to the little church door. They must have pulled up all the Moore signs - only 1 way out on the street left standing.
PS voting was brisk at 7:15 - fairly long lines. |

Quoted: They are desperately looking for a sign that there is a popular resistence against Trump. If you think US media are partisan against Trump you better not watch cable news over here as they are real far left communists. And remember Dutch new media faces things like actual jail time if they offend say Islam or call for less immigration from places with people that hate you. The only reason I am informed is becuase my primary news source for US news is Arfcom. Despite all the 'How do I oil up my tranny?' threads actual news gets pretty much deconstructed fast. The problem is that the Dutch media will have is facing a win/win. If Moore wins they will call Alabama a backward state, if he looses it will be proof America is done with president Trump. The tards here will eat it up becuase they have no news alternative. View Quote |

Voted. Very anxious about how this turns out. In my area (north AL) there are no Moore signs. Lots of Jones signs (far more than Clinton signs during the Presidential election).
I think it is going to be close. Hopefully the last minute Trump endorsement helps push Moore over the top. |
|
Its all about turnout. The black vote will be the only thing that can help Jones. Probably arent many folks who were going to vote for Moore but then, based on the accusations, suddenly decided that they needed to vote for a rabid socialist instead. If anything....those folks will just stay home.

The next test for him will be what McConnell and the swamp puts him through. |

A couple of Montgomery radio shows have had callers reporting heavy turnout at their precincts. Most are also reporting that black turnout seems to be greater than normal.
Although Montgomery County is majority black/democrat one of the reports came from the Pike Road area which is heavily conservative/white/upper income. Of course these reports are subjective but have all been reported by white callers. |

Fuck that Talibanesque Moore, I voted Jones. View Quote That...makes sense for a person on a black rifle site. I mean, a smart pro-gun person with a real objection to Moore could've written somebody in, but actively voting for the enemy is pants on head. |

And the list of people I get to pray fervently for has increased.
It was good seeing Judge Moore ride in on horseback to cast his vote. |

There is certainly a very vocal group of people that I know who are voting for Jones. Mostly upper crust types from traditionally conservative strongholds.
I think it’s going to be very close. I hope that I’m wrong. |

Going to watch with baited breath tonight. I think Moore blows Jones away but.. I guess this is another one of those referendums people talk about.
Also, screw anyone voting for Jones. If you want a protest vote, find a 3rd party or write-in. |

Skimming a few liberal corners of the internet, lefties seem very upbeat based on lines and turnout in Birmingham and other blue areas

with all the offices Moore has held, all the time that has aparently passed how come none of embarassment, none of the accusations have appeared before now?

John Kings is on CNN running the election map just like he did on 8 Nov 2016. Hoping he's just as wrong

When do the polls close? Seems to me there is a LOT of time left.

Is there any place with a current summary of the "abuse accusations"- hopefully neutral-ish.

You know I hate to put too much stock into yard sign count (AKA Arfcom's favorite election bellweather) but I've seen more signs and bumper stickers for Jones than I ever did for Hillary. Granted I'm in Lee county and despite being predominately Republican I can't hardly say it is representative of the majority of Alabama. I'm still cautiously optimistic about Moore's chances but there is definitely a difference from November 2016. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

In this case the Dems are all in for "stealing" the seat, so they have funneled huge amounts of money from across the country in order to give the illusion of huge support for Jones. Gullible people, who aren't politically-minded will say, "Gee, everyone seems to like this Jones guy so I guess I'll vote for him too!" <------mindless sheep, aka "useful idiot" |

Virginia wasn't a bellweather. It was already going blue. If a Dem wins in Alabama? We're truly fucked come midterms.

Hey op, how about providing some supporting info for the "Moore is winning" title update??
|
|
You know that little "page" icon under each user's avatar? The one that says "User Note" when you mouse over it?
I thing GB needs to make it so that whatever you put there (you know you can edit it, right?) floats over the name/avatar of that user when you read Arfcom. Like if I were to put in "Liberal cocksucker who voted for Doug Jones" it would show up every time I saw their name/avatar, so I could remember who the cocksuckers are. I think that would be a good use of that feature. |

Voted for Moore at 7 am sharp. Only about 15 folks at my polling location, but I do live in the sticks.

There are things that make this race different. Keep in mind the guy that bodyslammed that reporter was supposed to lose. Nate CheapChineseSteel told us Oshoff was going to win or "math was dead" (I guess math is dead?) There were a few "Special election referendum on DRUMPF" that went backwards on the media. It'd be bad if we lost. But Moore would be part of why. Their party is broke, they can't 250k per day in every race in 2018. Keep in mind that it's mostly Dem seats in red seats that are up for the senate in 2018. |

Can anyone tell me where the "Moore is winning" in the title of this thread is based on?? Thanks
