I was riding down the road yesterday and noticed a house flying the American flag up side down. It got me to thinking anyone here flying their flag up side down?
|
|
|
Nope.
Flying the 50 star up forward, the Betty Ross on the port side, and the Gadsen aft. The liberals have failed to take these from me. |
|
I no longer do flags anymore.
if I did it would be all black or Jolly Roger |

According to the U.S. Flag Code, flying the American flag shouldn't be flown upside down — with the stars at the bottom — "except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property."

View Quote Is this country not in dire distress yet? What would it take for you to feel it is warranted, if not yet? I don't have a flag pole. If I did, I'd be flying it upside down, or the blacked out flag. One of the two. |

I took Old Glory down in January of 2020. Been flying the Polish Home Army flag ever since.

I think we’re there. We've got a long way to go before we start burning tires |

I still love America so I fly the flag everyday - right side up.

I'm sure just flying mine the normal way pisses off the shitlibs around me, trying to find a 3 x 5 like this to replace it with though.

I stopped saying the pledge in the 8th grade. Do you say it while your coffee is brewing? |

I've been flying the TN flag.
I get the desire to fly the American flag upside down, but I think there are better ways to express our frustrations. IMO, It's kinda like crying wolf. |

How many on gd fly the pride flag? More than fly the stars and stripes?
|
|
I switched to Betsy Ross and a Gadsen. My father is flying his flag upside down which is causing my uncle quite a bit of distress. Says it's "disrespectful".

Driving to church or the store takes awhile. |

When they arrested Trump I started flying it upside down .
On memorial day pulled it down turned it right-side up , half staff. Now it's right side up again full staff. With a 2024 Trump flag under it. |

Not sure what your angle is or if its some edgy humor. I do say the pledge, face the flag and remove my hat/cover when I hear it. Does that warrant more smart ass shit from you? |

There is a house not far from me that has one upside down, and a Fuck Joe Biden sign in the yard.

Not being a smart ass: I have neither said the Pledge of Allegiance nor heard it recited since I was in 8th grade. Still not being a smart ass: when are you reciting it? Why? Where are you and what are you doing that you hear it (regularly?)? |

I've been putting flag stamps upside down on envelopes for 3 years now.
My bank account and retirement funds have been in distress. |
|
I saw a lot of individuals doing this after the 2020 election
|
|
Seen it before at a fire station of all places. I stopped and asked if they were aware. Guy was embarrassed and we corrected right away. Genuine “thank you” for stopping to ask. Private residence? Depends if it was in my neighborhood.

I fly Old Glory 24/7, lit at night, right side up. It represents the American people, not this corrupt anti-American government.

Upside down is a distress signal. If I see it that way, I'm calling 911 and they can talk to the police about their "emergency".
If it's a real emergency, it's good somebody called. If it's because your feelz was hurt (your party lost an election, criminals you like were arrested, somebody you don't know doesn't want to screw you because they don't like your body parts, etc.), get used to having the conversation until you stop crying wolf and disrespecting the flag over your snowflakeness. |

View Quote I did 5 years in the marines so I did more than many of the ra ra flag waivers. I haven’t supported our government in probably 10 years and detest most of my fellow citizens. Why would I fly a flag for something I do not support? It doesn’t mean I hate our country, I just no longer support it. |

I think it is disrespectful.
There are a couple of people flying black American flags in my neighborhood, I thought it was a BLM thing, but they are white, and Vets, so I Googled it. |

Bunch of fucking summer soldiers in here.
You fucking pussies. Nut up or Fuck off. You know who you are. |
|
I see a bunch of y’all have given up. The flag and what it stands for will never be taken from me.

If I see an upside down flag I assume the person is an idiot and should be avoided.

I Love My Country - Everything - be it Right or Wrong. I don't ignore the "problems" but instead I work to fix the "problems" & know America is still far better place than anywhere else. Being a Real Patriot means sticking it out in the tough times until Victory finally comes to those who sacrificed & worked for it. Bigger_Hammer |
