My wife and I were canoeing down the Russian River yesterday and I couldn't help but think of Apocalypse Now as this scene unfolded in front of us... It was a combination of the intro, rolling up on the outpost that was complete mayhem and finally arriving at Kurtz's temple all rolled in to one... it was really fucking weird. I pulled out my phone and started recording. Added the music tonight. My wife didn't understand what I was talking about so I made her watch the movie last night. She now gets it...
