Don't you need to earn the scar in an actual duel?
I bet you would win considering all the times you've crossed swords with other men. |
|
What do you do to make a character in a book, movie, cartoon, or game synonymous with the words tough, grizzled, and macho? You give him a conspicuous scar, and even better if it's over the eye or on the face but somehow managed avoiding giving any real injury. Of course they look cool.
In fiction. In reality you probably just look like a guy that got in a bar fight. |

I remember reading one time about an underground set up in Chicago that you paid a guy to shoot you with a pistol to get a bullet scar....they had a doctor and emergency personnel on stand by incase something went wrong.....I think where was a boot leg video around that had one of the "getting a street cred scar" sessions....
As far as OP's question....one word answer: insane |

Thank you no.
The students would be drunk, blindfolded and then duel. Stupid is as stupid does. That sort of stopped after WW I. BTW, I've been to Heidelberg. |

.
in before the poll most of those I've seen inflicted in the last 20 or so years are on the forehead . |

You gotta stuff those scars with saw dust so they get real distinguished looking.

I wonder if Dog the Bounty Hunters ass looks like that.
Probably not. Back to thinking about Finestien nudes. |

Just get a rescue pitbull. It will try to eat your face sooner or later.

A little BCC and a dermatologist will get you some of those cool scars if you need any.

I’ve cut scars into faces before. It’s incredibly difficult to scar a light colored person’s face without actually risking true injury. Darker folks tended to scar better but they were typically more into branding and I never cut or burned a darker person’s face.

Those 'dueling' scars are cringey. The masks, weapons, and rules are designed so that you get cool scars instead of proving anything.

My first time visiting Deadwood SD, I stopped off at a gas station as I left the interstate.
Lovely blonde chick behind the counter. A little like Ruth from Ozark in build and looks. And a scar from the corner of her mouth all the way up to her temple. |

If you’d have fought one whit below your abilities, I would have given you a good scar to remind ye…

Just wear an eye patch when needed. Then you can still use both eyes when needed.
