My mom had a cj2 when I was a kid. Right now there are several women on local dating sites that have pics of them selves in their jeeps and user namers like "jeepgirl". I knew one guy who had a jeep, he was in his late 60s and the jeep was a stock wrangler probably about a mid '90s model.
Eta: most of these women are 40~ single and weight north of 250. Seems to be a type. I did see a thin blond in a jeep though, I was eating lunch in a grocery store parking lot and see pulled up in a fancy jeep with like 35" tires, gets out and lights up a cigarette and smokes it while looking at her phone. I thought it was dumb how she needed that cig before walking into the store. |

Quoted: Lol. Death wobble is for dumbasses who don’t take of their shit. YJs aren’t immune. And you have made my point. You need to heavily modify your YJ just to keep up. Squares aren’t real Jeeps anyhow. View Quote LOL, I modified my jeep because I wanted a jeep that would go anywhere I pointed it, and yes you are right yj's aren't immune to death wobble, however they are less likely to have it happen. Also what am I trying to keep up with? Your tj on a rough country lift and 35s? |

Quoted: Seems more and more jeeps are owned by the opposite sex the last 15 years or so View Quote Define a 'girl car' and explain how owning one is somehow inferior to a 'boy car'. Men aren't defined by what they own or use, and do not give a shit what people think about what they do. Drive a Jeep. Drive a Prius. It doesn't fucking matter. |

Quoted: Sure just like HD 883 sportsters are girls bikes. View Quote Not necessarily, you hardly see ANYONE riding them anymore anyways. When it comes to HD's around here, there is a high ratio of females riding bigger bikes like soft tails and the like. I would say 7-10 of them are quite attractive too. Lots of lady bikers around here. |

Jeep Wrangler 2 door are for men
Jeep Wrangler 4 door and ANY other Jeep are for women |

I can't remember the last time I saw a two door Jeep. In my area, 4 door Jeeps are everywhere. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a 4 door Jeep.
It seems that there are slightly more female drivers than male drivers, but I really don't pay too much attention since I traded my 07 JK for a 4Runner. |

Quoted: When I see one I think middle aged woman with a 72 month loan. Goes for Stock or modified. They started driving them to attract men and now men are getting back into them to attract women. The only vehicles left here that make me think masculine, practical, rational man (any maybe no car payments) are older truck, raptors (if owner is over 35) and f-250/350. Tacomas used to be but that got taken over by hipster men and 4 runners are about the same as jeeps now. View Quote Bullshit. You leave the T4Rs out of this, it's a Jeep thing. Okay, maybe the Limited, but that's different. |

Jeep guy here, since I had my first YJ in 1993. Now I have a mall crawler JKU that my spine can tolerate.
75% or more of any Jeeps that I see on the road is driven by an overweight female and almost always have some type of nursing sticker on it- stethoscope, etc…and NEVER EVER is the hardtop or doors off. - not being mean, just relaying my observations. |

In England they have a reputation of being driven by same sex couples based on Top Gear. This sticker was on the back of a Jeep I saw recently. You tell me Attached File

Last real Jeep was the CJ-7 with a 360 motor, short of the Rubicon 392 that is a special order, of 2.5% made for the entire yearly runs, and going to cost you close to $100K out the door if you don't mind the huge wait to get one.
Granted that they are offering a diesel as well in the new models that is a little easier to get, it's littered with over heat problems. As for the money is going to cost you to get a Man's Rubicon 392, may as well say screw it, and get a Merc G wagon instead. Rest of the motor lines up, it's not about HP to pull it around/up the trails with larger tires on (that they are lacking), but the amount of torque the motors don't have either to even idle grunt it self out of deep sand . The V6 Rubicon only has 245ftlb of torque. Then we get in locking diffs (front and rear) and its another sour subject for most of the models that don't come with as well. So yes, they still offer a Man's version if you are willing to drop $100K for the Rubicon 392, but for the most part on the Wranger versions, Girls/Soccer mom models not really designed to go any farther then the side of the road in regards to off roading. Lastly, huge note and what made the 70's model drive lines bullet proof and where the jeep really go it's reputation, has not been that way for a long time with the newer drive lines. It kind of reminds me of the new Bronco Sports, that for the most part, it's motor is the Eco boost 3 cylinder motor that will never make it to 100K, even if only road driven. |
