Which musical genre did these people hail from? Was pop artists, boy bands, country musicians, EBM, Industrial, Metal heads, Punk rockers, was it? Wait...I feel like I'm missing one genre... hmmm which one could it be? Surely all those other msuic scenes are all ewually violent...can't...put... my finger on it...

There's nothing wrong with rap
The problem lies in subset that is gangster rap which surrounds the glory of getting rich, drugs, fast cars, women and respect by achieving that status. That status thru respect thru money and the threat of violence using guns. Achieving that status means you've made something of yourselves, your dodge charger, your glock with wish switch, the bling etc....A lot of this resonates with young black men from poor backgrounds. |
