Not that it's not nice. BBQ guns need an El Paso Saddlery holster for quality of presence.
I'm just not sure that setup will do. https://epsaddlery.com/product-category/holsters/ |

I bought a Southern Trapper for my Staccato C2 and I love it. I didn't go fancy, but if that's what you want they have it.

I have an Alchemy Prime on order and decided it warranted something a little nicer than my usual 1911 holster.
I did a lot of research and then attempted to order a set up from Exodus Gun Leather. I completed their on-line form and, as their website instructs, attempted to call to confirm the order. I left 3 messages over a span of 2 weeks with zero return calls. I guess they didn't want my money. Backup plan was TT Gunleather. Completed their order form for full rig - holster, mag pouch & belt. I received confirmation a day later. I had a question about one item so I call and lo & behold a human answered & helped me out. That is how you treat customers. I can't wait for rig and new gun to show up. |

For some folks, that means it has to have engravings and stuff on the gun. @103 , see the post immediately above this one and zoom in on the beaver tail and the front edge of the slide. |

The reddish marks on the holster are where I obfuscated the monogramming for opsec, not a flaw in the finish. Horsehide with shark trim (60TK) from Milt Sparks for my 1911 for BBQs.
55BN was my EDC leather for years. A few others from him too, I think I gave that guy a lot of $$ over the years. Matt Del Fatti made my P7M8 dress leather. Milt Sparks made the IWB for the P7M8. Have a nice shoulder rig for the P7M8 I had made in the UK, but dont recall who the maker was, also he passed from what I hear. Never owned anything with flowers/scroll work on it, its just not me. I dont need to buy nice holsters anymore, and the wait lists probably stretch into multiple years these days. I think the longest I ever waited back then was 18 months. Most modern pistols that I EDC don't rate that kind of love. |

I have a black 55BN on order for the Sig P229 Legion SAO Compact I just bought in part for that reason. I guess I would go with a holster that matches my sporran. Since I usually use the handmade sporran that my first wife made me, and I dress like a schlub all the time. I guess the standard kydex belt OWB or my Alien Gear shoulder holster with my G19 or Canik will do just find. I'll just stand over here by the bushes.
