Any plans today?

I’m getting ready to get back up on the roof.
A friend's 50th is today, they're a friend from when I was in that Star Wars costuming club.

A coworker and I (coworker is also in that club, one who got me my job here) got him a walker, 3D printed the Imperial Cog, and epoxied two cogs to it.

He's getting an Imperial Walker
SO MUCH WIN

We had an event here this week with the 501st Legion
Carolina Garrison is alright people.
Only alright?
Don't think I've ever met any in person.
You need to fix that, ASAP
I'm retarted.
We already know that

Thinking about buying some BDU pants for work.  Currently wearing LAPG Urban pants.  They work OK, but shrink in the wash and only last a year.

Opinions?

Yay learning things the hard way

I'm lucky my thumb wasn't any higher than I had it on the crossbow, or it would have done more than smash the nail yesterday. I could have been the next member of the Moses club

As it is, the right side, with the pooled blood under the nail and all that happy stuff, that's no longer connected. And it feels like the whole thing can wiggle under the bandage right now.

I wouldn’t suggest checking the experiment for repeatability.

Bigger ones being things like Labs and German Shepherds and stuff.

And the process is there is no process. There is no certifying body, no actual qualifications, no nothing, really. A prescription from a physician can serve as some sort of “paperwork”, but the reality is that it’s really, really disorganized and sketchy, which is why it’s so easy to fake. All anyone can legally ask is whether it’s a service dog and what it is trained to do.

She might actually have the knack for seizures since she seemed pretty concerned.
Seizure alert is more about them sensing the chemical changes that precede a seizure, and then having an a way of signaling that those changes are happening. That can give a person as much as 30 milk it’s to take preventive medication or at least get some place safe before they conk out.

What about a dog for anxiety?  Something to help keep him* calm when he wants to loose his* shit.

*The "him" would be me.
Any dog can do that as long as it doesn’t respond to your anxiety with increased anxiety of its own. The smaller ones seem to be fairly good at that, as it’s sort of been part of their job description since they started sitting on laps. And the bigger ones will often lean into you when you start getting spun up.
Define bigger ones.

And what is the process for getting them certified as a service animal?

No, but you did something dumb that resulted in an injury.

That is more than an AJ, where the only thing hurt is your pride.  Therefore, it's a Robit.

I'm retired.
Wait, wut?
From the 501st?
Yeah. I hung up my bow for Hawkeye too.

I have one pair, they're awesome. I'm planning on replacing jeans with those as the jeans wear out.

How's the fit?

I have big thighs and need at a minimum a relaxed fit.

Plenty of room for me, but I'm a narrow build. I'd think it would be good for a larger build too.

Extra gusset for the package too.

My favorite pair of pants I currently own are some Crye G3 comabt pants.  If I could afford them, I'd wear nothing but them.

So many penalties this year.

I am hoping to be in the top 75 this year.  Too much shit going on with the back, no bike riding to loose weight, AND attempting to run combat class.
