The Norks are a nuclear power and attempting any form of regime change (violent or covert) could result in one or more of your cities getting blasted by a nuke (along with Seoul). Truth is China has not been helping out with the Wuhan Flu in North Korea. So Little Kim has been conducting secret negotiations with the US for aid. Sounds like it wasnt until somebody in his inner circle got super sick and China would not help. It wasnt until after they started talking to the US and we send aid. That China sent a few doctors to help out, really just spy on NK. Expect something in the news late this week or early next week if everything stays on track.

At the end of The Great Successor, there is discussion about rocket boy's poor health back in 2018. He is estimated to have been over 300lbs, morbidly obese, a heavy smoker who was winded extremely easily, and suffering from gout, likely wearing an ankle brace during walks with SK President Moon. It seemed that even KJU remarked how no one else was winded during one of the walks. If that was 2 years ago, he likely has/had deteriorated further. There are also questions about a successor to him. It would likely be an uncle with little sis pulling the strings just like she did for KJU and KJU's aunt did for his father. The generational consistency of the regime is extremely strange.
