It is, but an expensive DD tire. The gforce sports were the best of both for me.

The question was not what tire is the most pleasant sounding

I have a set of these, and they are wonderful tires. And yes they're good looking to boot.

But they don't look this good

4x4's should be wearing either Ridge Grapplers or Trail Grapplers in my opinion.

My friend didn't even get 30 out of his. I got over 50 from my STT Pros and I'm about to throw them on craigslist as they have some life left.

BFG KO2s on both the FJ and F150. IMHO, they are the best looking and performing tires hands down.

I got the KM3s on my F250 a month or two ago, so far they have been bad ass on the ranches in the SE New Mexico area.

No chunking, pretty quiet, handle the same as stock but with way more traction.

While I always eloved my BFG AT, they do NOT look as good as many others.

Cooper STT for example..

Even the Milestar MT "looks" better.

I don't care how they look.....how they perform is where it's at, I have a set of Falken WildPeak AT's on my truck, they do very nicely in snow/mud and off road.

Oh, I gotcha.

I kinda like the "peach fuzz" soft treatment on the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.  It's a gimmick but it does feel neat.

Don't forget, winter tires should be thrashed on a track as well ... helps you build skills to deal with Northern Ice (TM).   This was my last set of Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds after a good workout at a sleet-filled autocross last year in New England.

The above set of tires was retired with less than 15,000 total miles.
