The property is hardly contiguous or compact, the whole "walkable" schtick is baloney. Especially in a car culture state. Individual parcels are large enough for individual towns. Maybe that's in the plan; all you poor folks live in the affordable housing over there, billionaires live over there, in-betweens live there.
The owner group is pro Travis AFB and has demonstrated support by donating a right of way for a water project to the base. Anyone that needs to see one of these messes can visit New Town St. Charles Missouri. The store fronts will remain mostly empty. |
