@tReznr Nothing major. I have run into a brick wall with R&D due to the softness of the 3d printed material. Was working on the ejector design but the rim of the casings digs into the bolt face easily, and I cant print quite precisely enough to go much further. I began redrawing it all to proper manufacturer specs though (the 3d printed tolerences have to be loosy goosey or the bolt cycles roughly) and have spoken with somebody that is willing to make prototypes and pursue manufacturing them. Funding is an issue; thought I had a financial backer but he isnt as interested as I thought he was. Could theoretically have a firing prototype pretty quickly once I have it all properly spec’d out though. We will see. I am trying to figure out how to fund it all without selling my house. |
