Looks like a multi line setup, such that they can't cut down one or pull one up without cutting the rest down or pulling them up at the same time.

The police said they will not try to remove them due to safety concerns. I think they are only affecting one of two outbound shipping channels.

The Houston ship channel is shut down. I just verified with my office.

And whatever “military vessel” the T S Abernethy is is parked under the bridge keeping on eye on the terrorists.
