Banning something does not make it magically disappear.

There are plans on how to make auto sears, explosives, poisons, bump stocks and hell, even biological weapons (crud, but effective to a smaller degree)

Even the nut case gun grabbers have been quoted in various news interviews that this is going to be caught up in court before it would ever be implemented.

Even if they have the companies list that showed who bought them, they would need to secure warrants to come get them if someone didn't turn it in.

The compliance level if put into place is not going to be what they might think, just the attempt to try and do it this way has many ramifications on a lot of other things that any president now and in the future might think they could get away with.
