556 primers 1000 count limit one box at midway USA. Just bought my one box.

Why didn't you also buy the available CCI#400SR.
You had to pay the same hazmat/shipping so they would have cost you $77.00 over all you paid for the #41????? Just curious |

So what should I be buying?
I don't reload.... I have zero equipment.... But I have the feeling I should start. |

How much?
Local shop has some over the weekend at $99/ 1000. I didn't need them that bad. |

Picked them up at this price because I'm damn near out and this is the first time I've seen them in quite a while... |

I’ll quit shooting before I pay that much for primers. Glad I have a little stash to keep me in it for a while.

People are ridiculous paying those prices. 128.53 per 1k LOL.
|
|
couldnt bring myself to pay that much, i only have 1k on hand but i dont need them that fucking bad. Either its going to get better eventually or finding primers will be the least of my concerns

Buddy wanted to get into .300BO reloading last year but hasn't been able to find primers. He was able to finally jump on these, yeah the price is a lot, but 1k will last a long damn time for him. Thanks for the heads up.

Picked up 1000 CCI#400SR. Price sucks but in this climate, maybe it doesn't.

I called to add the 400's to my order but they wouldn't do it, already in shipping after 10 min.

View Quote The link didn't work, and they are already out of the 400SR's. That's OK.... I wasn't sure what to do with them anyway. It was going to cost me $218 for 2000 primers. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. |

Quoted: Larry doesn't play when it comes to fast shipping View Quote True story. Even at the height of the insanity of the last year or so, everything I've ordered from Midway was on the truck either same-day, or crack-of-dawn the next day. That was back when most places did good to ship your order within 2 or 3 weeks, and many vendors were months out, even for in stock stuff. |

Made the mistake of believing I'd never have to waste my time loading shotgun shells again......big mistake. Just found 209 cheddites at the local range for $50/k and was happy to get them. It was closer to $70/k with shipping and hazmat from BPI when they occasionally get them.
Crazy year when you can't find pheasant loads on the shelf. |

SR Mags #450 and Small Pistol #500 are available now
#41's and #400's gone |

Might be a mistake but it wouldn't be my first. |

There has been plenty of primers in stock, at those prices and limits for weeks, from most vendors.
|
|
Managed to snag 1000 each of the two SRPs and 1000 of the Small Pistol Primers and stuff them all into the same order to save shipping and hazmat.
Not short on primers by a long shot but that's also the best price I've seen in a year or more....so... |

I appreciate the post op, I generally wake up in the morning scan gd, before I even look at my promotions email. I was finally able to catch some primers. Hoping to find some powder and finally at least be able to set up my reloading equipment.
