I really wonder if there is any peaceful way back from where we are right now? Our government is corrupt to it's very core and at almost every level it's clear that we do not control it by election choices. Our press is a completely one-sided masturbatory cheer-leading squad for every possible perversion and division as long as it's a leftist one. Our public is ready to claw each others eyes out to the say-so of the most vile power-hungry snakes I've seen in my lifetime. We can't even just buy products anymore, there are now conservative and liberal only products. Entertainment now spits in the face of one third to half of it's audience. People hate each other having never met the other person simply based on who they support or don't. There is no nation anymore. We are a collection of warring factions that can't come together on anything. That is not a strong position to be in and I suspect that eventually other powers are going to notice it.
