I’m suppose I’m a little weird.
I can’t stand drinking beer from plastic cups or aluminum cans. Only glass containers. Soda is the reverse or beer. Fine out of cups or cans. No glass. I only rarely drink sodas, though. Milk, glass and porcelain mugs only (like coffee mugs). No plastic, foam, etc. Water from anything. That’s about all I drink. |
"Glass all the things" is my preference.
Will settle for plastic or paper if at a fast food place or a cookout or picnic or something. Otherwise, fuck that noise. |
Everything goes in a coffee mug, I like the handle
Matrix thing |

Glass is best but I have a plastic frozen mug that has liquid in side the plastic mug that u can freeze .
Works great for my beer at least till I can get a chilled glass . |

I don’t like beer in a can because, generally speaking, only shitty beer comes in a can.
Other than that, I got nothing. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Cold water from a coffee mug messes with me. Like, how? Does it do "Butt Stuff" to you, that makes you feel insecure in your masculinity? It’s a coffee mug. The contents should be warm. Drinking cold drinks from a coffee mug is like drinking beer from a straw it’s just wrong. |

I only drink from USGI canteen cups, and not very often.
I get most of my hydration needs met by sucking on a small smooth pebble. It causes the mouth to produce saliva and keeps you hydrated. |
With whiskey, I by far prefer open glass. In my mind it's best from a Glencairn glass. Maybe it's marketing and just in my mind, but my taste buds don't lie to me.
I have preferences, but nothing about "can't drink it from that!"
I cant drink water from metal containers
prefer plastic bottles for beer thats the extent of my OCD |
It's not that I CANT drink from any container, I just prefer a glass over a bottle or can. I even prefer a solo cup over a bottle/can to drink.
I stick my tongue into a cup when I drink from it.
That’s the only beverage related weirdness I’ve got. |
I am the same for all of those.
(FYI I have been diagnosed with ASD). :) |
Beer should be poured from a glass bottle to a tulip glass. Unless its a macrobrewed lager in which case it should be drank from a red solo cup or a funnel
Coffee in a mug Water can, plastic bottle, metal bottle, hydration bladder... dont care Milk should be drank straight from the tap. At least thats how my 2 month old son does it. |
Not really.
But sometimes when I drink out of cans my mustache hair gets caught in the tab and yoinked out. then I cuss and start sneezing. |

Glass is almost always a superior beverage container. Particularly for craft beer, but it is also good for other beverages. Pretty much the only time I would opt for a non-glass container is if I’m in a circumstance where it’s inconvenient or I need a disposable container.
I agree op. Except there are occasions where it’s out of my control.
Only drink from containers that don’t leak out of the bottom, or don’t blister my hand. But I’m not picky. Dinner could be Chateaubriand, or an MRE ( as long as it isn’t the hot dog 4 fingers of death).

I only drink coffee out of a glass. Never drink soda out of a can, when I was 5 had a wasp get in the can and stung the shit out of me.
Grandma had some of these anodized aluminum cups. I couldn't drink anything out of them.
I have some Yeti style aluminum cups and can drink anything out of them. Attached File |

Milk has to be from a glass. If I pay for a beer, I prefer it not to be in anything plastic. Coffee in Styrofoam isnt preferred, but no one would know. Don't really care about anything else.

Set it to 10, you'll thank me later. |

I once rinsed out a Coke can and set it aside for an early morning. I had to be up early and decided I'd eat breakfast on the road in order to get every minute of sleep I could.
I filled up the clean Coke can with chocolate milk just before leaving. Didn't take a sip until I was driving. It didn't matter how many times I tried to tell myself to expect chocolate milk. Subconsciously I was still expecting something bubbly and syrupy, not smooth and creamy. That's a lot of words to say don't drink chocolate milk out of a Coke can. |
