Are their subs like a poor man's version of a Russian sub like the rest of their shit?

Potential kick off,
Gather to look for "submarine ", attack Taiwan. |

Quoted: I am very sorry for any loss of life. Military exercises are dangerous, that goes double if you are doing them in a submarine, and in a Chinese made submarine, I really wouldn't like those odds. Each man lost probably counts as two parents who have lost their only child, and four grandparents who have lost their only grandchild. Truly sad. And when you think of how many Chinese parents and grandparents will be grieving if China were to decide to try and take Taiwan... View Quote Normally I would agree with you, but communists are not humans and they should all be destroyed |

Quoted: If it sank in the Taiwan Strait, there's every chance there could be a Kursk situation. The Straits are quite shallow. Interesting that the source already knows that all of the officers are dead, but doesn't say anything about the rest of the crew. Nuclear debris resulting? Guess we'll see. View Quote I suspect lost in translation. They may think they're all officers. |

It could be a in a worse place if it is disabled. It is near the Chinese coast and the maximum depth is something like 150 meters. That's above crush depth for modern submarines. Plus, it is very possible to get a signal out for help. That section of water is very heavily monitored. Lots of hazards down there as far as I can tell. Hitting an uncharted rock or ridge is bad news for a submarine.
Of course, submarines are pretty dangerous. Flooding and fires are very bad news for a submarine. Can't say I have much sympathy since Communists are the scum of the earth. Article about underwater hazards in the strait. Taiwan article |

Sounds like the perfect cover for a huge naval presence as a cover for invasion.

Sorry for the thread hijack but I watched the original Dune last night and it just dawned on me that this guy, Richard Jordan, played the role of Duncan Idaho in the original Dune.
Sadly, he passed in 1993 at the young age of 56 from a brain tumor. He was Harvard educated and played in numerous films including Rooster Cogburn and Logan's Run. Attached File |

Quoted: What the ever living fuck is that screenshot? Is that a giant rock formation or a giant explosion? Did the reactor go prompt critical and detonate all the torpedo warheads simultaneously? Messy... the detectable kind of messy... View Quote It’s Morro Rock in Morro Bay CA. I went to high school there, grew up across the bay. It’s part of an old volcano.
