Saw this on Beck this morning. I really couldn't care less about sports, but it's nice to see reporters getting shut down so effectively on race.

Heard that interview on the radio. That coach ate her lunch. She kept trying to frame the narrative and he would have no part of it. It was refreshing to hear. Much respect.

That's the worst part. It's so bad when when White people openly say such stupid things. It's extremely racist to reduce an entire race to just their color and pretend they are one.

The questions were condescending and stupid.

Stop acting like a black coach is some kind of novelty, to be celebrated. There are plenty of really good black coaches. Race doesn't make any coach a good or bad coach. It DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER.

If you have the knowledge and rapport with players, you're going to be a good coach. Focusing on the skin color of the coach is (you guessed it) RACIST!

Haven’t followed a NFL team in close to 2 decades but this coach earned my support (for what little it’s worth).

Who even thinks of questions like that?

I'm working with a black kid right now, and the way I look at him is as a great worker that is willing to learn, the white kid he replaced was a terrible worker. What color their skin is, is as irrelevant as what color their hair is. Do you wake up every day and go to work and do your best? If yes, I will see potential in you, if not, hit the bricks we have no use for you.

In my experience, anyone who brings up race in speaking like that, is the biggest racist of them all. All they're doing is masking their own thoughts and feelings about how they view other races. If it truly didn't matter to you what the person's skin color is, then you wouldn't have to bring it up AT ALL. But they keep talking about it like slavery just ended a couple years ago and there's still some hold-outs.
