View Quote @CopyPasta I was going to go the same route on my new BL-22, until somebody talked me into a peep sight instead. This guy has really nice stuff (and $$ to $$$), completely refurbished. Be advised: I asked why the Bushnell I was looking at was going so cheaply...he said, "no repair possible, me or anywhere else." So, something to ask about before buying. vintagegunscopes.com The peep I decided to go with, custom made for the Marlin 336 by Skinner. I like that both places are in Montana. skinnersights for 336 |

I'm trying to recreate my step fathers deer rifle that I shot my first deer with so I'll take a look and see if I can find a scope similar to what he had. |

I made a reckless purchase for myself this month, one many won't understand. I collect antique Breweriana, mostly beer trays from the 1890s-1920. These popped up in a group last week and are rarer than hens teeth. There may be 7 in existence.
I bought the three closest to mint for $4750...and could probably get $9000-$15,000 for the set. Attached File |

today i bought an mp5.
anyone know where i can get some mags? |

Quoted: I remember telling everyone back in the day that the Thing was just a glorified Kubelwagen (German for "bucket car."). Can you list the major differences? I think the Thing had a much better interior IIRC. View Quote @docapocalypse I’m no expert by any means on VW Things or in Kubelwagons. As far as I’m aware there’s not a lot of differences other than obviously some body differences and the Thing did away with the limited slip and portal axels. The Thing sits a bit lower but honestly the interior in both are what I would call lacking by any standards other than bare minimums. The Thing had door pockets at least The Thing did have a radio but pretty much the same style shitty seats, shitty top, etc. but did get a front trunk and optional gas heater. The Thing really was an evolution of the Kubelwagon and was used by the military as well. The Thing had a bit more power as the Kubel had like 23HP and the Thing had 46HP Attached File Attached File |

Home gym/functional trainer. Just put it together. Have more flooring to put down and some more attachments to put on.
I can sleep in 20 more minutes now instead of getting up at 5:15 to drive to the gym Attached File |

I bought myself some new socks, new flannel shirts, and a pistol Marauder upper from PSA. I wrapped them all and will put them under the tree with my boys presents Christmas night.

I think people are starting to get the memo about an ammo shortage.
Every place we went this past weekend, many, many calibers sold out. Very little 9mm except in odd brands, almost no 45 ACP. Practically zero 5.56 or .223. High velocity 22lr was gone, too. Yeah, it's Christmas but I've never seen empty shelves like this. Attached File I managed to snag 2 300-round boxes of Winchester white box 45 ACP. Cabela's only had one more in stock besides what I got. Glad I had been stocking up all summer. I fear for what happens in 2024. I'm on a mission now to buy ammo any time I see it in stock. I'm not ordering online right now because shipping is always a nightmare this time of year, but right after the first of the year I will. |

Friday, I did final paperwork to retire in 365 days. What more could I possibly ask for?

Quoted: Friday, I did final paperwork to retire in 365 days. What more could I possibly ask for? View Quote Ummmm... you could ask to be retiring sooner! But anyways, I remember when I turned my retirement notice in. It was like this smothering 2,000 pound weight off of my shoulders. The next day it really started to hit me that I would be escaping my would-be tomb. The sky seemed bluer, the trees were greener, etc. And it stayed magical for the next few weeks until (and after) I walked down the halls that I had walked up and down at least 50K times over my 25 years there. As I walked out the door for the last time I was walking on air. That was 3.5 years ago and I've never looked back. My wife still works there, so on a rare occasion I get the privilege of being someone that everyone comes out of their offices to chat with and envy. |

Get you some of the oddball ones. https://iili.io/JubL0dB.png Holy shit, that looks like WORK. No... I didn't buy work for Christmas. Just a sweet new blade (Ratio Extreme RAO 2) and pistol (Sig P365XL Macro). Having said all of that, I think that Rubik's Cubes are cool as hell, but they make my brain over-heat. |

View Quote @doc_Zox I elect to keep my scary guns black because I dig blacktical weapons. But I'm not gonna lie... I kinda dig your present. |

Not really Christmas per se, more that a bunch of things came together at the same time.....
I got a magnetospeed v3 off the EE at a not eye watering price. And a Primary Arms 3-18 BLEM for my 20" 5.56. Plus wiped out some debts I had. Also discovered the other day that I had more ammo in the closet than I remembered having. |

Leather chin strap for my New Yorker.
Money's tight this year. Thanks again, everyone that voted for Biden. |
