The Gulf P car and the Ferrari 330s particularly the P4.
And the DTM BMW M4. |

Martini Porsches/Bimmers/Lancias
Rothmans 962s Marlboro MP4 Senna's last car was pretty as well (Rothmans/ELF Williams Renault) |

I thought the John Player Specials of the 70s were super cool with the black/gold combo.

Davey Allison's black Havoline 28 car.
That 28 was 1BMF but man was it hard on drivers. |

The Team Oreca Viper.
Attached File But it's only stuck in my head because one of the license tests in Gran Turismo makes you take this thing through the corkscrew at Laguna Seca with no traction control. Took forever. |

The light blue/orange scheme of the Gulf cars is one of the most iconic and easily identifiable color combinations.
I don't think I have seen another scheme that comes close. Really, who would have through those two colors would look that good together? |

Quoted: It's an obvious answer to say the Gulf badged GT40...my favorite car to ever exist, but I got thinking what are some of other coolest cars & their famous paint schemes? I actually like the Gulf scheme on the Porsche 917 even better. https://images.fineartamerica.com/images/artworkimages/mediumlarge/1/gulf-porsche-917-peter-chilelli.jpg Also loved Smokey Yunick's "7/8" Chevelle from 1968 (Yeah, Reese Bobby's car was inspired by this). https://i.pinimg.com/originals/ab/2c/4c/ab2c4ccaa66df08866da160c3a102cbc.jpg What's your faves? I have that 917 in a diecast model. Bought it because I liked the paint. I like the 908 also. View Quote |
