I know nothing about cows or bison but we should stop raising beef and raise strictly bison.
Thanks, GD |

Quoted: Spondylosis deforma at L3-L4. The bone is starting to bridge the gap. There's also signs of bad arthritis across the lumbar. Essentially, she's a 2 year old with the lower back of a 10 year old. So, pain management, physical therapy, weight loss and weight management, etc. We were all hoping it'd be an easy fix with antibiotics, but there were no signs in the X-rays of discospondylitis and she had a clean urine culture. The good news is, there are no tumors and there is zero nerve degradation. She has full function of her limbs, which is great. The plan is to keep her active with walks and low impact exercise, but to be very mindful about how that activity is affecting her. High intensity activity is essentially out the window, aside from very short bursts. I just hope we don't get that extreme, acute pain again. I wish I knew exactly what set that off. She's in good spirits today, although still quite drowsy from sedation yesterday. She wanted to zoom a little in the snow, so I went out with her and we played a bit. That makes everything feel a little better. |

So the PA - for the OBGYN rocks. She gets me and is deaf like me. I think she had ear surgery similar to mine when she was younger, but she could never get the bones rebuilt in the ear, that technology wasn't around at that time. She has a hearing aid that is expensive so she hates wearing it for fear of losing it. Showed her the Skokz bone conducting headphones she said she needed those.
She spent 45 minutes on what should have been a 15 minute appointment. And we still need to determine what we want to do to address my issues. So yay, cool lady, looked at mammogram and she put me more at ease there. Just dense tissue, was what was finally stated. |
