This is why all ballots need a easily definable hash-code (QR style code) that can be cross-matched post-voting to show that your individual ballot counted towards the larger sum.
Wouldn't take long, wouldn't be costly, and since everyone has a cell phone would be super easy to implement. The amount of data that can be put in a QR code is absurd (4kb!) and more than enough to implement all this cheaply and effectively. |
