Why not Julian Castro? Or any random Democrat governor under 50?
It's like they aren't even trying... Are they that confident they can win? Or just that retarded? |

They don't want to. With the financial cliff we are facing they don't want to be behind the wheel and will point to the Obama days as great like they did with Bill Clinton. Gonna take a lot to keep this ship afloat. They would rather point to a conservative who acts like the adult in the room and makes big boy decisions that hurt and say I told you so after the free money game stops.

Hiltery is a sinking ship (or is that sh*t?). Bernie is too far left for party leaders. I guess they want Uncle Joe. Go Joe. You're just a f*cking fool anyway.

I think Biden would be harder to beat than Clinton. He hasn't done anything for 8+ years, hard to criticize somebody who has been sitting on the sidelines.

I'm still impressed with the notion that Biden has fans. View Quote I'm not. He still has a lot of appeal to the older democrats. You know the retired blue collar type. But he would have zero appeal to the young democrats such as the pin cushion types with purple hair who thinks it perfectly normal to marry a door knob. And those types rule the party now so it's a sinking ship on the democrat front. |

I would never underestimate the depths that a democrat will sink to win nor the gullibility of the American voting public. You already have talk shows pushing that it's time for a woman president. ANY woman, just because she's a woman. It's going to be an ugly year looking at her face. |

http://media.salon.com/2015/05/hillary_sanders.jpg NEW YORK (Reuters) - A prominent Democratic donor worried about the party's chances of winning the presidency emailed dozens of fans of Vice President Joe Biden on Friday, urging them to remain prepared to donate if Biden jumps into the race. The donor, Bill Bartmann, cited new polling showing Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont nearly tied with the Hillary Clinton, eroding the 30-point lead the former secretary of state held at the end of last year. Bartmann and other party insiders are concerned that Sanders, a self-proclaimed Democratic socialist, is too far to the left to win against a Republican in the Nov. 8 presidential election. "We cannot afford to lose the White House," Bartmann wrote in the email, seen by Reuters. The email drew a string of affirmative responses, also seen by Reuters. Baskette said he was not opposed to either Clinton or Sanders. "I don't think that they offer the solutions to our nation's future that Joe Biden does," he added. "Count me in," Gary Hindes, chief executive of the Delaware Bay Company LLC and a former chairman of the Delaware Democratic Party, wrote on the email chain. "I am hoping that the stars line up right and that Joe becomes the nominee," Hindes said to Reuters. "Sanders is too far to the left," he added, saying Clinton could be vulnerable as well. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/democratic-donor-contacts-biden-allies-possible-run-010248619.html View Quote Run Forrest run I say! |
