I remember the controversy, but never knew the exact details. I thought it was the whole verse, printed on the bottom of the mount or something, so it took forever for the military to notice it.
smith28542 informed me they're still on all civilian products. I had no clue. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trijicon_biblical_verses_controversy 2 Peter 1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. |

They do so at In-N-Out too...not an uncommon practice. Good for them, and a shame the Judge-botherers were so incensed by something so inane.

Wow that’s awesome, I had no clue. I just bought my very first Trijicon product a few weeks ago and yep..... https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/358028/B5BBC92A-65D8-47DB-A6F1-5D2F973987F6-1249769.jpg View Quote I remember hearing about it, but thought they stopped. Furthermore, didn't know where it was. |

I always felt that Luke 11:21 would also work.
"When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed." |

When you shoot Saracens with a Trijicon they don't get their 72 virgins. True fact.

Good. I don't have a problem with it. Anybody that has a problem with it should buy something else or sand it off.

I'm glad that they still do it.
The people that complained must have an awesome life if things like that are their biggest issue. |
|
if you don't have a Trijicon scope to make you not miss and protect you from harm, plan B would be to dress up as a woman so Death passes you up

I specifically looked for and bought a TA31RCO ACOG in the old style just so I could get one with the Bible verse in raised lettering. That's the version the military insanely went about defacing. You can see pictures of these ACOGs with the verses dremeled off of them. It infuriates me. Is truth and goodness so offensive? Are we so embarassed of God that our military men must not be reminded of faith? What a pathetic and low thing to do on the part of whoever made that call.
Proud of Trijicon and proud to have my Bible ACOG. |

Just not on the military ones since people got butt hurt about it when they started being issued in Iraq.

I’ll allow it

Just checked my MRO. Bought it about a year ago.

And, of course, the print location can differ within the same product. Some RMRs marked at the top, some at the bottom. 1-6 VCOG is marked opposite side of the 1-8. I'm sure there are other differences. That print looks really good. |
