Disney leadership said this move over the next 18 months will allow for teams to collaborate more and make a great impact. Our news partners at the Orlando Sentinel received documents from Florida's Department of Economic Opportunity that Disney's capital investments for the project could be as much as $864 million. Along with that, the Sentinel is reporting Disney could claim more than $570 million in tax breaks over two decades for this major project, which would be the largest in state history for a single corporation. |

They should get taxed more in Florida, to pay their fair share, like they want everyone else to do. And just Disney, and all of their employees. No none else has to pay more.

Then their woke employees vote to make Florida less tax friendly. Brilliant!

The left is determined to ruin my state. Looks like I may have to change my retirement plans and get out sooner.

Quoted:$570 million in tax breaks over two decades View Quote So 28 and change million in a company that profited 5.3 billion last year or one 1/20th of one percent of their profit - a rounding error. Doesn't seem like much. 28 million from California's 150 billion a year budget isn't much either or two one hundredths of one percent of their annual taxes. Doesn't seem like much. This is propaganda clearly as the math doesn't justify their claimed motivation. |

As a Florida Man I know that Florida is now fucked. These libs will turn Florida into California 2.

I know a couple of Disney corporate employees and they’re actually conservative

Yep, Disney is a hypocrite.
BTW/OT: FYI for you folks who are reg'd to vote in Kali, vote "yes" to recall Newsom, and vote for "Larry Elder" for governor, please help to save Kali. Also make a donation if you are able. TIA. |

They should build another Disney World in FL with the exact same studios, rides and shows with the exact same specs in another part of FL to ease overcrowding and long waits at the current one. Or that will bring even more fans they can handle.

So, will all the homeless in Anaheim get full run of the California park?
I mean you trip over the fuckers everywhere when you walk out of the park. |

lol...
Realtors in the area think this will impact home prices. "I think the Disney move here is going to really increase prices in the area, you've got people coming from California where 4, 5, 6, 700 thousand dollars, a million dollars is nothing, so I really foresee them coming to this area, wanting to be close to work," Lake Nona realtor Kathy Hereford said. Meh, not going to hurt CA but may hurt newsom in this recall. Lots of candidates are already using it in their campaign ads. Unless there is another .com bubble burst, CA will be okay (budget wise). We're so over taxed here, there are billions in surplus. |

Why the fuck should they get a tax break? They are already getting one by leaving CA.

A lot of people here will poo poo me on this but the southern states need to raise taxes.
