I don't even walk barefoot in my house most of the time. In the yard, hell no.

GD: "A real man doesn't have soft hands. A real man's hands are scarred and calloused, because he's not afraid of hard work. You can look at a man's hands and tell how much of a man he is. People with soft, weak hands would be a liability if SHTF."
Also GD: "OMG walk barefoot outside? Or inside? Eww gross! I must keep my delicate toes protected at all times! My feet are much too sensitive to use them without protection!" Shoeless whenever possible, here. |

fuck no, my "yard" is native grasses full of stickers, snakes, spiders, scorpions, fire ants and some kind of black and red wingless wasp thing that has a sting like the wrath of GOD and you want immediate amputation.

Anytime I can. If I have to wear shoes it's Tevas or Chacos if I'm not wearing boots or running shoes. I hate wearing shoes, especially steel toed boots, always have. I have sexy feet though.

Yes, I go barefoot, when it's warm enough, if I won't be stepping on rocks/gravel. If I'm wearing socks and need to go out on the deck or porch, I'll take the socks off so that they can't get snagged on the wood. If I'll be walking on the gravel (going to get my Rzr out), I'll put my boots on. I've driven it barefoot before, but that's pretty rare.

Rarely. There is deer poop everywhere in the yard. And I’m not a hobbit

Quoted: This right here. I have to be in socks. Feels weird otherwise. First thing I do when I get up in the morning is rotate upright, and put on socks. Usually have them right at the bed. Last thing to come off before I rotate horizontal at night. View Quote My feet feel the same. I don’t even like wearing my walking/tennis shoes without socks |

It’s Florida, duh, of course!
Mostly flip flops though. Easier to wash them if you step in something… |

When I was a kid it was a point of pride to toughen your feet up so you could walk though the woods, on gravel, asphalt, etc. wearing shoes was a sign of weakness.

Fire ants will cook your feet before you make it 10 steps anymore.

Everything around here wants to poke you or bite you. Not to mention the rocks and stuff. Wear shoes.

Bare foot inside all the time not as much as I used to outside but some
As a kid in the 50's I only wore shoes to school. I ran through pig farms, muck, swamps everything. Think that is bad? I am 73. I take no medication of any kind, I am allergic to nothing and laugh at Covid A cold to me is a slight sore throat for a couple hours and 2 or 3 sneezes Barefoot builds immunity and doctors tell me men 20-30 years younger wish they had my blood work numbers Being barefoot is a factor in my good health. That and dumb luck |

Yes, all the time. If you never go barefoot you will have bitch feet.

I've taken to calling them landmines. Dogs drag them in all the time. About the only thing worse to step on are the scorpions. |

No. My dad learned of the dangers of hookworms when he was a kid and made sure to pass that concern down to me.

I am barefoot a lot, I grew up that way, and intend to stay that way. I wear appropriate shoes when I must, but do fine across hot or rocky surfaces barefoot most of the time.

Mow the lawn barefoot.
After backpacking and we reach a destination, I'm the one walking barefoot |

2 massive Hawthorn trees in my backyard, and one in the front. I would go barefoot if I had to for some reason I suppose, but it's not a good idea. I've had to pull hawthorns out the the dogs pads and it's not fun. So it's a "no" for me. I keep a pair of slip-on shoes at the backdoor just for that reason.

Quoted: Absolutely. I’m in work boots 12-15 hours every day. Flip flops or bare feet once home, unless the situation calls for shoes or boots. I’ll catch flak for this, but I mow my grass barefoot.
